MRC North is a registered provider for NDIS SUPPORT COORDINATION and ASSIST LIFE- STAGE, TRANSITION
MRC North has 35 years’ experience working with migrant communities in Tasmania. This experience means we can provide support that is culturally sensitive and appropriate. We employ bi-cultural and case workers experienced in managing complex cases, particularly when that support is needed long term. We use interpreters when necessary at every step of the way, ensuring you fully understand your rights and that you have all the information necessary to maximise your choices and control. That way you can expect the best possible outcomes for your future. MRC North has extensive networks so we can easily tap into community resources to meet your needs. We will be there for you to resolve issues and make any necessary changes.
As your Support Coordinator, MRC North will assist you to put into place all supports outlined in your NDIS Plan. This can include helping you to access mainstream, community, informal and provider options. We will ensure that our work with you maximises your independence and builds your capacity to reach all your goals. Support Coordination and Life-Stage Transition assistance would be paid for by NDIS and be included in your NDIS Plan.
After twelve months MRC North as a Support Coordinator may assist you to prepare for a Plan review.
MRC North can assist you at times of change such as when you are leaving school or home, finding employment or at any other life-stage transition. The services and assistance we can provide are varied and will be based on your needs and aspirations for your future and what has been included in your NDIS Plan.
MRC North will be happy to speak with you as you prepare to access the NDIS. We can explain our role and responsibility as a Support Coordinator or helping with Life-Stage Transition. We will always use an interpreter if needed so you fully understand what is being offered.
